Back in Action

Hey all! Mindy here. So my mom changed her email address awhile ago because we got rid of Earthlink. Ever since then she has been blog less. For Mother's Day, yes I realize that was over a month ago, I told her for part of her present I was going to start a blog for her. I'm finally getting around to it. So the Falkners are back! I'm sure most of you have remained updated by all the kids' blogs, but it's always good to have a trunk on the family tree.

I titled the blog "Blissful Ambiance" because well I think it sounds cool, but I will always remember our home as a place of happiness, love, bliss, and a place where the Spirit of the Lord can dwell. The biggest reason our home is able to feel that way is because of my parents. Of course us kids didn't turn out to be sweet little angels like they may have hoped, but our parents taught and still teach us the important things in life. They are incredible examples in all that they do. They taught us the importance and value of hard work, although my mom may disagree sometimes ;) but I do believe we learned it throughout our lives even if we don't always show it. They taught us the value of a personal testimony in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My parents have sacrificed a lot of personal wants and desires throughout their life to make their family happy. I can go on and on about how wonderful my parents are and how much they taught us. I am grateful for my eternal family unit and for the lessons I have learned growing up in the home and family I have. I'm grateful to have earthly parents who have helped me strengthen my relationship with a loving Father in Heaven and have helped me to feel the Spirit and Love of God in my heaven on earth.

I hope through all the posts on this blog you will be able to see the correlation of our lives and the title of the blog, because it truly is blissful!
